Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center hosted a wedding for two residents who met and fell in love at our facility. Mitchell Slone and Juanita Burkhart met when Juanita moved in on the same hall where Mitchell lived. The two became quick friends and soon fell in love. They became engaged back before Christmas and were anxious to tie the knot! The entire community has jumped in to help make it happen. We want to congratulate Mitchell and Juanita on their new marriage and we hope they enjoy many years of happiness! The wedding was performed by Rev. Joe Howard. The wedding was catered by our wonderful Dietary Department. Decorations were provided by Tara Day at Perfect 10. The bouquet and boutonniere were provided by Henson’s Florist & Gifts. Thanks to everyone who helped make Juanita and Mitchell’s dream come true. It has a been a blessing to us all to be a part of this day!
