April is Occupational Therapy Month. Occupational therapists work with people of all ages who need specialized assistance to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives due to physical, developmental, social, or emotional problems. We want to take this opportunity to let our Occupational Therapy staff know how much we appreciate their hard work. O.T. is an important part of our rehabilitation program and we want to thank them for all they do for our residents every day.
Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 143-bed skilled nursing facility nestled in the beautiful mountains of Harlan Kentucky. Harlan County is home to the Poke Sallet Festival, the Black Bear Festival, Kingdom Come State Park, Martins Fork Lake, Black Mountain Recreational Park.
