During Harlan Health and Rehab’s Volunteer Banquet, the facility dedicated a plaque in memory of volunteer, Mike Howard. Mike was a volunteer at our facility for 39 years. He started right after the facility opened in 1979. He was devoted to the residents and visited twice a week.
On Sundays, he brought treats for the residents. Mike passed away in January of this year. wanted to have a plaque to commemorate his love for our residents and his dedication to, not only this facility, but to all of Harlan County.
